EU drops the under-€150 duty exemption on small parcels
From 1 July 2026 the European Union removed the rule that let parcels worth under €150 enter duty-free. In its place, a temporary fixed duty applies — reported as around €3 per product category per shipment — and it stacks up when one parcel mixes several categories. Around the same time, several EMS and EUB shipping lines into EU countries were temporarily paused.
These figures come from Asdbuy's own notice and can move at short notice — confirm on the official site.
What this means for you: if you ship to the EU, budget for new import charges and check which lines are actually running before you send a parcel. Confirm the live duty and available routes on asdbuy.com.
